Drug and Alcohol Treatment Options in Burlington County, New Jersey

Treatment for drug and alcohol abuse in Burlington County, NJ, includes:

Dual Diagnosis

A dual diagnosis treatment center in Burlington County, NJ, helps you recover from co-occurring disorders. A co-occurring disease is a condition where you suffer from both a mental health condition and a substance use disorder (SUD). Treatment involves medication-assisted treatment, counseling, therapies, and medical support.

Aftercare Services

Once you are through with therapy, inpatient, or outpatient programming, it is advisable to seek aftercare services. Most doctors will even recommend the best aftercare services that may help you achieve a sober life after rehab. In addition, aftercare services help you transition from recovery into the outside world with minimal relapse episodes.

Medical Detox

Medical detox is a crucial stage for any recovering individual because it prepares your body for treatment. The only downside is that detox is often accompanied by mild to severe withdrawal symptoms. However, medical doctors use medications like naltrexone to lessen withdrawal effects.

Outpatient Programs

Outpatient programs include Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs). IOPs and PHPs allow you to live at home, go to the center to receive treatment, and return home once done. These programs are very flexible and ideal for people who can’t enter an inpatient program for reasons like education, family responsibilities, etc.

Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient or residential rehab centers allow you to stay at the rehab center with your peers and medical providers for a set time. The sober facility has the following benefits:

  • Offers greater focus on addiction recovery.

  • Meeting peers who struggle with the same condition forges.

  • Help you connect and create a support network.

  • Provides access to various therapies like acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization, and reprocessing (EMDR), etc.

Can You Use Insurance To Cover Addiction Treatment In Burlington County, New Jersey

Insurance coverage plans can help you pay for rehab expenses. While some facilities accept insurance, others do not; hence, check first. The most common insurance coverages in Burlington County, NJ, include:

Private health insurance is covered and paid for by private insurance companies. These insurance companies require you to pay a certain amount of monthly premium to qualify for the coverage. After amending the Affordable Care Act law in 2010, all private insurance companies treat addiction as a pre-existing health issue worthy of coverage.

Marketplace insurance coverages are also part of the Affordable Care ACT. However, they are less expensive than private health insurance coverage. In addition, the premiums paid for marketplace coverage vary by income and state. This is because these insurance plans are only open for people who make less income in a given income threshold.

Medicare and Medicaid are typical federal-sponsored insurance coverages that may pay for rehab expenses. Medicare covers seniors aged 65+ or people with a disability. In contrast, Medicaid covers pregnant women, people with low income, and people with disabilities.
